We left Amman at 3:00 a.m. on the 16th for a flight to Frankfurt, planning to fly to Orlando after a 7 hour layover in Frankfurt. The Orlando flight was overbooked, and not really needing to get home, we volunteered to be bumped. We were treated to dinner, a good night’s sleep, breakfast, and the tidy sum of $1,700. We flew home on the 17th and arrived in Orlando tired but safe and sound.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed viewing your trip blog. Some of the pictures put me in mind of the Vander Laan series that you and Susan taught in Evansville. Seeing the area through your eyes was pleasure and I really enjoyed your sense of humor.
From now on, I will pray for you with "joy" for good measure.
